Caseríos del Sao y El Hornillo

This group of cave houses in located in the neighborhoods of Sao and Hornillo. These are caves drilled into the cliffs that belonged to the aboriginal inhabitants of Gran Canaria and date back to pre-Hispanic times. In the course of the years they were inhabited again and they were basically dedicated to agriculture, at present they are in a state of semi-abandonment.
